What is helium?
Have you heard about kitchen robots? Today, there are more and more electronic devices that are being integrated with IoT technology.
As a result, devices such as traffic lights, home appliances, mobile phones, cars, among others, can have much more advanced functions. Helium is a blockchain that allows interconnecting such devices, which gives them the highest quality 5G internet no matter where they are located.
How? through “hotspots” also called Helium miners. They are devices like your home internet router that serve as nodes that give internet to those devices. In return, the Helium blockchain gives $HNT token as a reward to every hotspot.
I got my bobcat miner within a week when I order it. Now here’s the catch if you order the straight from their website cost you $460 but you will need to wait 5 – 8 month to get your miner or you pay on amazon just like me and you get your miner within a week but you have to pay double the price $900.

How does it work?
All you need to do is connect your miner to your internet and download the helium app then your miner starts to make money.
And here’s where I place them when I first try it out

You know what I do my research and talk to a bunch of people in the community. And the best way to earn more Helium get your antenna outside the house. So I did let me show you

What did I learn so far?
If you want to make more money then get your antenna outside the house if you can’t then try to put your antenna up in the attic. People really focus on what is antenna good antenna, what connect should I use. Here is what you need to focus on:
- Location
Depend on where you live are you live in dense city where a lot of hotspot the more hotspot in 1 hex the lesser you earn.
- How high can you get your antenna
Can you able to get your antenna up to 25 ft, 30 ft or even 50 ft. The higher your antenna the more reach they get to another hotspot
- Choose your antenna
Here’s the graphic show the antenna range, The antenna I use outside is 3dbi. Start small 3dbi first if it is not great go to 5.8 dbi or even 8 dbi.
- Choose your connection
When you decide to put your miner outdoor, please use a good connection like coaxial cable LMR 400 if it is 10 ft, if it is more than 40 ft use 600 cable. I’m recommend using brand call MPD Digital.

How much money can you make?
Mining HNT has become a nice little stream of set-it-and-forget-it passive income. As for how much you earn each day, it depends on the price of HNT on an exchange.
You can expect to earn anywhere from 50cents to $5 per day or if you have a crazy set up then $8 to $10 per day.
